About Us

Hayden's Hardware was opened in 1960 by Hayden and Elnora Wiley. Over the years, the family business expanded and grew with Las Cruces and the surrounding neighborhoods. 

Whether you came to Hayden's for a hammer or a part for your faucet, someone was always there to greet you and help with advice. This tradition was passed along through the generations and is a staple at Hayden's.

Hayden's has always been a family-owned-and-operated store.  

In 2023, Elnora’s granddaughter, Virginia, sold the business to Brenda Padilla, who had worked with Virginia for eight years and in the hardware industry for over 31 years. The same commitment to customer service and dedication to serving the needs of the Las Cruces that Hayden and Elnora had started continues today.
